MSN mail, "program trying to access"

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Norton Internet Security 2006 and I just upgraded my
Outlook Express to Outlook XP (I couldn't find my product key and had been
using OE for a long while) and it seems whenever I get an MSN e-mail, I get a
message that says that a program is trying to access outlook and that it may
be a virus. But whether I tell Outlook to allow it or not allow it access,
outlook freezes and has to restart. This sometimes turns into a cycle where
every time it restarts it shows the message again and freezes again. This
repeats until I access the MSN message and open it or delete it. I checked
for viruses and unistalled and reinstalled Norton and neither helped.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

P.S. I have used outlook xp before with Norton Internet security 2005 and
did not have this problem. I chatted with a norton tech and he said it wasn't
a norton issue.

Disable any mail scanning.

Outlook 2002 is NOT an "upgrade" for Outlook Express. Outlook and Outlook
Express are two completely separate applications.

Norton tools don't play as well with Outlook as Symantec would have you
believe.
