MSOCache and dual boot

I have set up a dual boot PC with Windows XP Pro on both partition 1 (c
drive) and partition 2 (d drive). I have just installed Office 2003
(standard edition) on Partition 2 (d drive) from the Microsoft CD. When
asked at the end of the installation, I opted to to "delete installation
files".
What happened was that a hidden file structure (MSOCache) was created on c:.
After I opted to delete installation files, it's total size decreased from
over 200 mb to a few mb. I now need to install Office on Partition 1 (c
drive) I have several questions:
1: If I want to totally clean up and delete the MSOCache file structure
before installing Office on drive c:, should I use the Disk Cleanup Wizzard
or LISTool.exe?
2: If, on the other hand, I decide I want to have copy(s?) on the
installation files on line, should I use LISTool.exe to move MSOCashe to d:,
repair it and then install the second copy of Office and its own separate
MSOCache folder to the c drive? Alternatedly, could both copies of Office
use the same MSOCache folder?
3: Is there any way to force setup to not create the MSOCache file structure
and thereby keep both installations totally independant of eachother?
I would be grateful for any suggests as to best handle MSOCache in a dual
boot system with Office installed on both partitions.

(this is a repeat posting- the first posting disappeared- sorry for any
confusion)
