Can the msocache file be moved from 'c' drive partition to 'd' drive
partition to free up space? outlook 2007; windows XP home addition os

Yes, but that doesn't work for Office 2007. The installation files are now
kept on the partition that you used to install the Office product on. I
don't know the exact reason behind it but I can imagine that it gives a more
consistent and reliable configuration. For instance; formatting the
partition with the msocache folder on it will not break your installation
and formatting the partition with the installation files will not orphan the
msocache folder. In addition, hard disk space is much less of an issue as it
was before, so keeping them together makes much more sense.
