I hope someone can help
My MSOffice 2003 for students and home is installed on a laptop with Vista
Basic sp2
During the last month the safety update for Microsoft Office Web
Components (KB947319) has come up with the Errorcode 57A.
During the last 2-3 months I have not been able to use Word as an email
editor.
Now I have found that I can not make a repair install or uninstall of the
office program.
(I have activated the "Office source engine")
The installer stop with the message: "Error 1402, can not open registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\CLSID\{59191DA1-EA47-11CE-A51f}\inprocServer32\11.0.00.Chedkthat you have admitance to the registrydatabase."I did install the program"Windows Install Cleanup(kb/290301/en-us)msicuu2.exe" and run theprogram.Then i tried to install office, but got the same error message,error 1402I am the sole owner and user of that laptop.regards from Anton M
