MSOxxx.WMF Files in Windows Temp Folder

Can anyone tell me what are these msoxxx.wmf files in my Windows/Temp
folder? Are they of any further use or may they be deleted without causing
any trouble? I am assuming they are related to MS Office because of the
"mso" at the beginning of the file name.

Try sending them to the recycle bin (but not deleting) and verify everything
still works.

If they're actually needed and Office isn't actually running, you've
discovered a bug.
