Hello!
I tried to update Office via group-poicies. I have an administrative
installation point on the server. I do:
office2003-kb838905-client-deu.exe /c /t E:/Install/Temp
msiexec.exe /p "e:\Install\Temp\gdiplus-Binary-GLB.msp" /a
"e:\Install\Office\STD11.MSI"
I get this error (I hope I translated it correctly):
"The Upgradepatch cannot be install from the installer-service because
the application, that should be updated, is probably missing or the
upgradepatch would update another version of the application.
Make sure that the application you want to update is install on the
computer and that you install the right upgradepatch."
I tried it with every patch I found for Office 2003, including SP1. The
strange thing is that it seems that the patch is in fact installed
(doesn't appear anymore in officeupdate), but why I get such a message then?
