Is there a reason that when projects are deleted, the MSP_VIEW_*
tables are not purged? We've been experiencing some performance
issues and during a SQL Profiler session I've noticed there are heavy
delys when entries are made to the MSP_VIEW_PROJ_ASSN_TP_BY_DAY table.
This table contains 7.5 million + records, many of which are
associated with projects that have been deleted long ago. I was
hoping to find an available method to clean it up. Any ideas?
System Info:
MSP 2003 SP1 (migrated from MSP 2002)
2 WEB, 1 APP, 1 DB
WIN2K
IIS5
MDAC 2.7 SP1
