msp_web_work not being populated

Hello -
We are currently building our own data ware house using several db as
sources and the project server 2003 db as one of them. We are using SP3
project server on SQL 2005.
we started the dev work on our Data warehouse using our own build of the
project server (small amount of data etc) we would make changes to the small
dev db like add a project and a few outline codes etc, We have now received a
actual copy of the client project server db (a project server db that is
actually being used and has quite a bit of data) - now here is the problem.
The client db's MSP_WEB_WORK table is empty - and as such the building of
the DW staging tables is not working.
I am at a loss why the table remains empty I have tried changing and adding
things on the client side done a republish etc. but the table remains empty,
the project plans have resources and time assigned to tasks but nothing shows
in the table.
One difference between these two databases, the dev db we started with and
the client db we received, is that when I started the project I went through
the project server 2003 SDK and did it against the dev db - which I later
used to build the solution. Does the SDK change certain things that enable
the populate of the table?

Please any advice or explanation why the table is empty would be great. -

Hi,

The safest tables to work with are the MSP_VIEW tables. These are used as a
staging for processing the cubes. They are the 2003 equivalent of the
reporting db in 2007 and so will be simplest to port when you eventually
move to 2007+
