I cannot open bitmap files because my computer cannot find
mspaint.exe. I've been told this is a standard part of
windows--and I have 98 SE operating.

Can someone tell me where I can find this on my computer--
and if it is not there--where I can go to get it?

This is an Office newsgroup, not a Win98 newsgroup.

If it's not to late, I can help. You will need to put you
windows CD in the computer. Go to Start, Settings, Control
Panel, Add and Remove Windows Componants. Then select
Paint and add it.
