MSPGrid and Indicator columns

refering to this code:
MSPJGrid.FieldList="#DB_NAME[Name]{60}, DB_DATE[Birthday]<4>,
+DB_ENUM<48>, MSPJWCFieldIndicators(DB_sample)[Sample]";

what shall the value of DB_Sample and DB_SampleIndicator be?
Im trying to use the grid to display icons in the indicator fields and the
SDK is not clear enough please help?
