MSProject and ExchangeServer (More integration is needed)

Hi All,

I am trying to see if an idea is possible to be implemented or has been
already implemented by some folks.

Now,When I create a project using MS project and publish it on the Project
server and define some taks on that project ,Project sever asks "Exchane
server" to send emails(Task) to the people for whom the project has been
created. It goes to their outlook mailbox (then they can simply drag and
drop it to the task section of their outlook, which is useless).I am looking
for a way to make exchange server to send taks directly to the task section
of their outlook and when the task is changed ( for instance when 10% of
task is done) ,it can commuinicate with Project server (with that specific
project) to update it.

Is this idea doable? Is there some resources for doing this?

Thanks for your help

Hello ALI-R.

You should download the Outlook Addin in Web Access. Go to Tasks and then
click on "View and report on your tasks from your Outlook calendar". You can
download the addin there.

After installing and configuring the addin in Outlook (for each Team Member)
your users will be able to import all tasks to their calendar, to get all
changes and to record their hours out of Outlook.

I hope this will help you.
