Has anyone identified a means to preserve the historical visibility of a
users timesheet entries within My Tasks after "archiving" the project plan?

Will 2007 do this?

PSD:

You don't really have an historical record by transaction visible in My
Tasks before you archive a project, let alone after. If you are using
Timesheets, the ones not associated with My Tasks, then you do have a
transaction history to go back to. If you use My Tasks exclusively, then you
don't have access to the transactional data, although I believe the system
retains these in an internally used table that requires decoding. As an
undocumented transactional table, it's useless to end users unless you can
reverse engineer it.

Has this been re-engineered in 2007 to preserve historical views for team
members?

Yes, the timesheet functionality I referred to is a 2007 introduction. This
does accumulate transactions and you can enable audit logging. The system
doesn't provide tools to view the audit logs out of the box, but all
transactional data is preserved in 2007. One of the compelling reasons to
upgrade. Don't forget that 2003 goes our of Microsoft's mainstream support
in 2 months.

This is great. It seems as though Microsoft has covered many of the gaps
which EPK exploited from 2003.

Could you possibly provide feedback to this one which has me in a bind right
now?

Does "All Timesheets" = "All Submitted Timesheets Only"

I have a big problem right now in that my Resource Managers can only see
submitted timesheets when the utilize the "All Timesheets" filter in View
Timesheet Summary.

I don't have a working version of 2003 running at the moment as we are
rebuilding our platform in 64bit, and I must confess that I don't remember
that minute of a a detail on 2003. So, I suggest that you ask that
separately if someone doesn't jump in.
