MSPS 2007 - I.E. error when attempting to create a new timesheet

J

I have several users (3 out of 150 so far) that are no longer able to
create new timesheets in MSPS 2007. They either receive the error
message below as a pop up or it shows a "Error On Page" message on the
bottom left of their IE browser. Most of these users have been able
to create timesheets in the past but suddenly are having this problem.

I have verified that this is specifically related to their profile on
their machines. This means that if they log onto another machine
they do not have this issue and if someone else logs on the their
machine they are also are not having this issue.

I have seen corrupted profile problems in 2003 as well (where the user
keeps getting prompted for a windows account) and my only fix for that
in the past has been to have an administrator log onto their machines,
rename their profile, and then have them log in to generate a brand
new profile.

Does anyone have a better fix for this? I imagine it has something to
do with an I.E. setting somewhere or something of that sort. It is
hard to pinpoint the exact cause.
