MSPS 2007 - Question Regarding Disabling Start and Finish Fields i

How can I configure the PWA "My Assignments" and "Details" views so the
person reporting time in PWA can see the Start and Finish dates but cannot
change them?

I want the users to be able to log time to the task(s) without being able to
change the start and/or finish date; they can come talk to me to do that.

Worked perfectly. Thank you!

This solution is nice because I can customize the code and view to lock
other fields from editing like the amount of total work.

I wish you could do the same thing in the Assignment Details view, but for
now I'll just remove the fields I don't want edited from the view.

Tim,

You have to add the web part to any view you have in the My Tasks page. I
initially added this to the "My Assignments" view and thought the problem was
solved (I also removed the fields from the Assignment Details view). However,
I later found out that resources could change to the "Timesheet" view and
still edit the start and finish dates. I had to make the same cahnges to that
view as well to stop resources from changing dates.
