I am not sure if this is the correct group to ask questions about MSPS
2010, but I will start here. We are getting ready to migrate (to dev/
test) to MSPS 2010. We have SharePoint e-CALs for all City
employees. However for MSP/PWA, we only have the appropriate MSP/PWA
CALs for the people in our department. I know that PWA CALs are
required for people to access PWA. But the questions is, can other
City employees (SharePoint e-CALs) access projects SharePoint sites
for collaboration without needing a PWA license. In other words, can
non-PWA users access a project's SharePoint site (not the PWA) via a
URL with only a SP CAL and not a PWA CAL? The non-PWA users will NOT
be entering time or need access to anything within PWA...just need
access to project SP sites that they are assigned resources to.
Thank you,
Kathy
