MSPUB.EXE Error Every Thing i Do

J

John

I am an IT Admin for a company, so i know my way around a
computer. The problem is every time i open up Publisher,
it opens fine. But no matter if i click to open
something, or check help, or anything, it generates an
memory read/write error. i have trid uninstalling,
reinstalling, updating..nothing seems to work. the
windows says:

CiceroUIWndFrame: MSPUB.exe - Application Error

and then states:

The instruction at "******" referenced memory
at "******". The memory coudl not be "written".

that is all i get, with the astric always being different.

i am at my wits end...thanks ahead of time

Yes, i am running Publisher 2003, came with Office 2003
Pro. It used to work, and now today, it does not.
According to the microsoft website, there are no fixes to
download.

You may have a corrupt printer driver...try reinstalling
your printer driver...better yet, check your printer mfgs.
website for an updated driver.

Do you have Office sey up for Speech and Handwriting Recognition? Disable
them by going to Add/Remove Progams in the Control Panel, Add/Remove
Features-Office Shared Features Alternative User Input and Make unavailable
Speech and Handwriting.

This feature seem to create crashes in several different Office
applications.

It is a driver problem. You can check this by opening in safe mode. Usually it is a
printer, Publisher is more critical about printer drivers than other Office
applications.
