I am attempting to install Office2k3 Pro using the CIW.
My sole purpose for using the CIW is to customize
Outlook2003. The workstations I am rolling out are used
by many different users. As such, I am trying to
configure Outlook for Quiet Startup.... having the
Outlook profile automatically configured per user (%
username%) to attach to the Enterprise Exchange Server.
Sounds simple enough, but the changes simply do not
propagate across all user profiles. During the
installation, I am logged into Windows XP as the Domain
Admin. When I open Outlook in the Domain Admin profile,
everything works just fine. When I log on using a Domain
User account, the Outlook New Profile Wizard pops up...
not what I'm looking for here! What am I doing wrong?
FYI - this workstation is a Dell that shipped with
Office2k3Pro already installed. In the process of trying
to get this to work, I have gone through the process of
completely uninstalling & re-installing Office from
scratch.
