MSVCRT.DLL error messages

For the past few months, I have been getting the following error message
almost once a day (though seems to occur most often at night when not using
my computer)
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.2180, stamp 41109752, debug? 0,
fault address 0x00037efb.

This one also appears in my event viewer:
Bucket 132369324, bucket table 1, faulting application outlook.exe, version
11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version
7.0.2600.2180, stamp 41109752, debug? 0, fault address 0x00037efb.

Any ideas?

Do you have more than one version of the DLL on your PC?

Yes - I searched for it and it was appearing in the following folders:
c:\
c:\windows\system32
c:\windows\system32\dllcache

Are they the same? Right-click and choose Properties.
