MSWord freezes

I'm using Word 97 using Access97 as the datasource.
(Win2000)

I have a situation where every now and then during a
Mailmerge Word freezes. I have to use the TaskManager to
end both MSWord and MSAccess. Then every subsequent
Word 'merge' document that I simply try to open, will not
open. Word freezes again. I can EndTask and open a non-
merge Word doc and all is well. But until I reBoot my PC,
I cannot open any more Merge docs.

ANybody every run into this?
