We have several Access 97 databases running on a Novell network.
Computers have either Win98 or Win2000. In the past few days, users
from various depts have reported getting the following error message
when attempting to open a shared database that is on the network:
"Table Msysmodules2 is already open exclusively by another user, or it
is already open thru user interface and can not be manipulated
programmatically."
This message has never appeared before, and there have been no
modifications made to the network or the databases.
I understand that the Msysmodules2 table is a system object which is
normally hidden in the database window, but other than that, I don't
know anything about it. I've looked for an explanation in this
newsgroup as well as in the MS KB, but found nothing useful.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and happy holidays.
