Besides granting all users 'admin' level permission is there a way to get
around the
MsysTable error "3033: You do not have the necessary
permissions to use the 'MSysTables' object. Have your system administrator
or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions
for you".
I am trying to use Duane Hookem's applet that allows users to create
on-the-fly
queries(http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/Otherdownload.asp?SampleName='DH Query By Form'
). The applet works perfect as an 'admin' level user but when used in a
secured workgroup all non-admin users get the msystable error. I have
googled the error and it seems to occur when the non-admin user is unable to
save a query within a secured database. My question is how do I allow users
the ability to save queries without dropping security? thanks.
