Mulitple Copies of email

Email Client: pop

Further to my previous question I am now able to view messages both on Entourage and Hotmail as I marked "leave a message on the server" but I now receive the same message multiples of time on Entourage. I sometimes get more than 10 copies of the same message.

This has to be rectified. Please help
