Mulitple users storeing data

Hi everyone I have a large database where by users can enter sample data they
all are given sample ID numbers when they enter data. However when multiple
useres try and enter data the numbers become confusing is there a way so that
when a user logs in they are given say 50 ID slots and then if a users signs
in at the same time they are given the next 50?
