Multi-language handling on Access 2002

I need help!
Is there a known bug in handling multi-language on Access
2002 with Global IME (i my case, Japanese)?
I am using Access 2002 on XP, both English version.
When I input a text data with Japanese in a text box on a
form connected to text data type, the non-English text is
sometimes replaced by a space/blank!

This program is for input purpose and is connected to data
table in another access program located on network. Both
programs were developed by Access 2000 Japanese version.
