multi lines on top

I am making a report like a check with a stub on top. One payee in main
report may have 1-5 detail items associated with it in the subreport. I make
the report from the main / sub info.

I want to create a check with check fields always being in same place on the
bottom of the page. The problem is the upper stub listing the detail items
could have a different amount of lines for each payee. I am not sure where
to handle this, in the form, report, ????

By the way, I have no problem with one payee and one item.

How about creating a report that is the size of your paper (8 1/2x11 for
example). Then insert 2 subreports, one for the detailed listing and one
for the check. Set the properties for the subreports so they don't resize
themselves. This way the main form will always plave everything correctly
and extra information will just be cut off in the details section.
