Multi-lingual Spellcheck

I installed the support for multiple languages when installing Office 2004,
but I can't get it to work. I have the files on my computer in the '/Office/
Shared Applications/Proofing Tools' folder, but I can't figure out how to
configure Office to use them. Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.

Just select your text and use the Tools:langages command to select the
language the text is writen in. If proffing tools for this language are
isntaleld, Word will start using them on the selected text.

You need to install the dictionares separately. On the Office install CD
you'll find something called the Value Pack. In that folder there's a Value
Pack installer.

It sounds like Orion has already installed them. In any case, one would use
the Office 2004 Installer to get the additional languages installed. Office
2004 doesn't include a Value Pack like the previous versions did.

My bad, Mickey. You're absolutely correct. I installed MS Office 2004 a
few weeks ago, and I forgot I hadn't had to go through the separate
ValuePack installation. I did have to go back to the previous version's
ValuePack to get the simple "Logo" Assistant and get rid of the obnoxious
Max. That should have made me realize there was no ValuePack in 2004.
