multi-page report using template

i'm a newbie to office x, and have been going nuts trying to format a
proposal document to look professional.
here's what's been done so far:

1)created required template, saved it in "my templates" folder
2)typed in the first page, everything looks great
3)when i add a page break, the subsequent page is blank!

i would like for every page to be based on the same template. how do i
do that with a multi-page document?

help, help, help!!!

Hi Elbokonon,

When you say the subsequent page is blank, do you mean that it is lacking
the headers/footers (logos, etc.) that you set up in the template? How did
you do it?
