Using Office Pro 2007 (Word)
I am trying to create a template for my letterhead (pre-printed). When I
print on letterhead I use a laser printer with multiple drawers. I pull
pre-printed stock for the first page and then blank white for pages 2, 3, etc.
I created a template with custom first page margins. Then I put in a section
break and created narrower margins for pages 2 and beyond by setting "This
Point Forward" in the Margins dialog box. The problem is sometimes letters
are 1 page and sometimes multiple pages. If I use this template, I always get
a 2 page document. So, I deleted the section break and saved the template,
but now, it's back to the same margins on all pages.
How can I create a template where the margins on page 2 are different but it
is only one page by default and if and only if I run to 2 or more pages, the
higher pages have the correct margins?
Thank you for your comments.
