Multi-Page Templates

Mike

I have created a template that incorporates forms and text boxes and images.
When I come to the end of the text box I would like Word to automatically
create the next page with the full template. As it is now I must insert a
page break (which of course inserts the normal.dot template into my document)
then copy all of the text boxes/images to the next page, align them all
properly and erase the entered text, this is very time consuming. Is this
possible to have word automatically do this?

You need to create an AutoText entry consisting of the new page of stuff you
want to insert.

- Select the text (including page break) that would want to repeatedly
insert.
- Go to Insert, AutoText, Autotext to display the Autotext dialog.
- Click The AutoText tab of the dialog
- Set the "Look in" dropdown so it references your template
- Type in a name for your autotext entry and click Add.
- Save the template

Now, any time you want to insert the new page, you can type in the first few
characters of the name of the autotext entry and then press the F3 key to
insert it.
