Multi-user access to as single visio file

Sorry, perhaps a very basic question, but I haven't found an answer elsewhere.

Is it possible for other users to view (read-only) a visio file while
someone is working on it (like a doc or xls file)? Does it lock the file
completely.

Thank you for the reply Marcy. One of my collegues was apply to test other
users opening the same file and found that they can indeed open it read-only
as expected. Fortunately, no-one as yet has asked for the ability to view it
over the WAN. However, this is something I will keep in mind for the future.
