Multi Value Fields

Because I wanted to take advantage of the capability in MS Project 2003 to
assign multiple skills to enterprise resources, I created a "Skills"
Enterprise Resource Outline code with a list of generic skills in multi value
code number 22 and checked the box "use this code for matching generic
resources". After assigning multiple generic skills to each resource, I
went to the Build Team From Enterprise Dialog box, moved a generic resource
from the Enterprise Resource column to the Team Resources column and tried to
use the Match button. When the Match button did not bring up the persons
with the requested skills, I noticed under Customized Filters options that
two versions of Skills exist: one Skills with Enterprise Resource Outline
Code 22 and another one Skills-MV with Enterprise Resource Multi-Value 22.
How do I get the Match button to filter for and use the Skills-MV instead of
the Skills? Any help will be appreciated.

I have used this a bit and as far as I can tell there is no way to use
the multi value field in the matching process. I have used the custom
filter with 'OR' to pick the resources and this work well with the
Multi value skill. You MUST use the 'CONTAINS' qualification.

Also make sure you have set the flag on the Outline Code to use it for
matching.
