Multilingual Text Input in LTextEditView

Srp

Dear all,

I've used LTextEditView class for text edit and input in my carbon
application. This text box accepts the text and is working fine in Mac OS
9 irrespective of the language options chosen. When text is entered
through keyboard it shows all types of characters like korean, japanese
properly.

But the same application when launched in Mac OS X 10.3,
LTextEditView is not able to interpret input characters properly while
text input. If i delete one character at the beginning then it starts
showing correct text. And this is random. Sometimes i need to delete
second character to get correct diaplay of korean characters.

I sincerely hope for suggestions to avoid this unsual behaviour of
LTextEditView.

Thanks and Regards,
Sivaram Prasad

You've posted this question to a newsgroup devoted to Microsoft PowerPoint for
Macintosh.

I doubt you'll find the answer you seek here, unless your question has
somethign to do with PowerPoint; if so, please post back and explain the
connection. Thanks.
