Our office is currently running Exchange Server 2003 for internal email and
we have POP3 accounts for external mail. Previously all users were running
Outlook 2002. I have recently upgraded some users to Outlook 2003 and some
problems have occurred with those users. With 2002 we had the POP3 account
set as default. When a user wanted to send email internally they just
selected and address from the Global Address List and Outlook would send the
message through the Exchange system without the user needing to change from
the default POP3 account. Outlook seemed to recognize the internal address
and route it appropriately. This is not the case for some users now with
Outlook 2003. Can anyone shed light on this problem?
