frustrated with Outlook 2003

my problem is that 'reply' and 'forward' are automatically using the wrong
account to send from.
I know that Outlook will auto use the same account info to reply with as the
one that it is received on.

that is the real problem...
I believe all my accounts on the same POP are set to receive emails, so that
whichever picks them up first is the one that is getting assigned to it.

I fixed this before... but cannot remember how!
something to do with an 'all accounts' button I think.

I use Outlook 2000.
account 'A' is set as default, which is the one I want all sends, replies,
forwards to default to.

anyone?

Apparently, your various addresses really are all aliases of one another and
mail is delivered to a single mailbox on the server. So, while viewing
Outlook's Inbox, press ALT-CTRL-S , select the "All Accounts" send/receive
group, and click Edit. For all but one of your accounts, remove the
"Include the selected account in this group" checkbox. That way, Outlook
will always use a single account to get your messages, since they all get
delivered to the same mailbox on your ISP anyway.

well, ur correct in that I have several alias's reporting to one mailbox on
the server.
and yes, I am looking for that 'all accounts' , send/receive group, edit
function...
That is exactly how I fixed before.

BUT

alt ctr s only brings up my computers HP Pavilion Support Information
(ie: model, product, serial, etc)
even when I press while looking at Outlook inbox

Is there another way to reach that same function?

I appreciate your first response... I hope you have another!
