Multiple Appointments for same time

I frequently get double or triple booked for the same time in a single day.
Is there any way that I can move selected appointments to the far left of the
daily calendar view? I would like to be able to move those appointments that
I intend to keep to the far left, but the application doesnt allow me to move
them in any way other than to a new time.
