multiple apps oppening by themselves sometimes 20 at a time

Access or Word open, all of a sudden 10-20-30 windows open!!! as if you have
double clicked the app icon 10-20-30 times, all blank not just a repeat of
the app originally opend. Does it with word access etc so office is affected
in someway.
Happens in a split second, no warnings at all.

Any ideas?

No good answer for you, but if it happened to me I would immediately update
my virus definitions and do a full scan of hard drive, update Ad-Aware and
have that do a full scan of hard drive, and possibly remove and then reload
my office software.

But that is just me.
