Multiple Cell Selection in Excell 2007

I have been working on a spreadsheet for a while and just recently when I
select a cell, the two or three cells to the right of the cell I want also
select. I have also noticed this behavior on another spreadsheet on another
computer. I have searched the web, and have found 1 reference to this, but
no answer.

I have the same problem exactly. I just posted a query before I saw yours...
disappointing that you did not get any responses.

Did you ever get any resolution? I wonder if it is a mouse related issue,
did you try a new mouse?

This is the first response/post I have gotten. Unfortunatly I have heard
nothing from Microsoft. I don't know if it is a mouse issue, as new
spreadsheet don't seem to have the problem. However, once a spreadsheet
starts having this problem, it will continue having this problem every time
it is opened.
