Looking for an idea...hope someone can help.
I have an Access Database linked to my excel file. Data in this access DB
is from 5 business units. In excel, I have created one tab, sourced from the
same data, to create 4 "dashboard" charts for "Business Unit #1".
Now, all my chart in this tab are just how I want them, and ready to
Paste/link to Powerpoint. Problem: What I have done is now "duplicated"
this first tab, 4 more times, to create the same charts for each of the other
4 business units. My thinking is, in my pivot, all I would have to do is
filter on the next unit, and the underlying data woudl then change, and thus,
the charts connected to the pivots. However, this does not work. The
"duplicated" charts on each tab seem to be linked back to the FIRST tab
pivot, rather than the pivot on the tab they are on. Any "easy" way to link
the chart on the page, to the pivot on the page, without recreating every
single chart?
Thanks!
