Multiple Charts with different x-axes in 1 Chartspace

Stefan Weber

Hi,
dont know if someone else got the same problem, but when i try to put more
then 2 different charts (different x-axis-values and categories) in one
chartspace, all x-axis labels of all charts will be used as x-axis.

Seems that the Chartspace can only handle 1 xaxis.

Is there a workaround or is this just a limitation of the OWC 11 Chart?

Regards
Stefan

Ungroup the axes. There's code in here showing how to do this.

Hello,

i've spent over 8 hours on the search to solve this problem. Found nothing,
except ungrouping the y-axis. You said there is code in here. So please give
me a hint. Couldn't find the solution.

Hello Alvin,

i've just found this in another discussion thread:

+ Thao Moua wrote:
+ Second, all multiple charts inside a Chartspace control all share the same
+ category axis. If the charts are to have different axis, then you must use
+ multiple Chartspace controls.

Now i'm a little bit confused. What is right and what is wrong? Are you
right or Thao?

sorry Thao is right. The only other way to do this is to use custom drawing
to manually plot the points and axes. That's a lot of work with little pay
off IMO
