Multiple column values in crosstab query

Hi All,
I don't know if this is possible to do in crosstab query but needing to know
how I can have multiple column values.
Here is my table:

Payment Type Status Cnt Amount
Check USAGE Applied 101 3612.16
Check USAGE Unapplied 48 2775.93
Check BASE Applied 128 8402.42
Check BASE Unapplied 44 1534.24

Would like to return this result:

Payment Type Total$ TotalCnt Applied$ Cnt Unapplied$ Cnt
Check BASE 9936.66 172 8402.42 128 1534.24 44
Check USAGE 6388.09 149 3612.16 101 2775.93 48

You would need to set up a table with two records for the different values of
Status.
