I need to create a report that will print 175,000 records on as few pages as
possible. These records consist of Last Name, First Name, MI, Date of Birth,
and Medical Record Number. We only need the first 10 or so characters of
each field (although complete last name is nice and complete Medical Record
number is mandatory.) I'd like to print on 8.5 x 11 via laser printer in
portrait mode. I'm thinking very tiny print (8 point?) and two columns on
each page such that the left column shows records 1 thru 90 (for example) and
the right column show records 91 through 180 before going to page 2.
I'm open to suggestions... I don't know how to make Access print reports in
two columns as described, or how to easily tighten up the row spacing, etc.
to cram as much data on as few pages as possible.
Thanks for your help!
