Multiple columns

Through a Microsoft rss feed, I learned how to take a simple database report
and shorten the number of pages by using the option for multiple columns when
you print or print preview. It is a list of my music song titles which is
lengthy. It worked great except for one thing: Each page has the 2 columns
but only the left column has the column heading (simply, SONGTITLE). I have
tried to use Design View but not having any success. Is there a way to have
the column heading over the second column when I go to PRINT?

By default the columns in a multi-column report have the same width as the
sections of the report in design view. You can change that in PageSetup though
so that you can specify the widths of the columns explicitly.

That allows you to make your report wide enough so that you can add additional
column header labels across the ReportHeader and/or PageHeader sections of the
report because those two sections (and their associated Footer sections) in the
report are not affected by the Multi-Column setting as all other sections are.

It basically takes some trial and error to get the other labels properly aligned
with the other columns.
