multiple conditions

Help pls!
Need a formula to do the following:

if date in range matches date in a cell then sumif function... the
formula doesn't take the if fucntion relating to date in account...

Hi,
suppose that your dates are in column A starting in row 2, the amount to be
sum in column B and the day entered for what you want the sum is in cell C1
so in D1 enter

=SUMPRODUCT(--(c1=A2:A100),B2:B100)

change the range to fit your needs

Hi,

It would help us if you showed us your formula and what you expect it to do.

In general something like will work just fine:

=SUMIF(A1:A19,D1,B1:B19)

where A1:A19 contains dates and D1 has the date you are looking for, then
sume B1:B19 for the rows where A1:A19 = D1.
