Multiple contact lists

I would like to have two seperate contact lists on my
system. I have one for everyday contacts and one for a
specific project. Is it possible?

Sure, simply add a new folder from File New, and make sure that it is a
folder to store contacts. Right click the newly added contacts folder, and
make sure that it is shown as an outlook address book.
