Multiple corruptions

We are getting multiple failures every day since
converting a couple databases from Access 97 to 2000. They
converted clean but the one almost doubled in size. I
assume this is because of the Unicode feature. The
databases are not real complex 8 to 10 tables with up to 8
users per database. They do each have at least 3 memo
fields in the some of the tables and probably were
developed prior to Access 97. The users are on SP3, I feel
it is a PC/Network problem but can't prove it. Any
suggestions?

Whenever an MDB is converted from A97 to newer and corruptions start
occurring I immediately suspect the OpLocks problem. See the Access
Corruptions FAQ at my website.

A clients MDB increases in size about 30% when in A2000 format.
Doubling would be a bit larger than has been my experience. Is this
immediately after conversion or after the MDB has been in use for a
few days?

Jet 3.5 SP 3 or Jet 4.0 SP 3? I'd suggest moving to Jet 4.0 SP 6 if
you still have it available to you somewhere.
