You indicate you have a POP account. Since POP messages are stored on
folders "On My Computer" you don't have a need to keep the database size
down like you would if you had mail on a server for an IMAP or Exchange
account that has a low storage limit.

What are the Limits of the data size in an Entourage File?

Entourage does not create PST files like Outlook. You can create MBOX files
and Entourage archive (.rge) files.

Entourage can export items such as mail messages, tasks, contacts, notes,
and calendar events to an Entourage archive (.rge extension).
