multiple database search

I have a few (flat file) databases that I have migrated from file maker to
access. All similar fields in each table are of the same value. I need to
make a form to search all (5) databases. I do not want to edit in this form
just bring up records.
Any suggestions? (access for dummies and the complete reference did not
help).

Do you really mean "search all (5) databases" or do you actually want to
search 5 tables.
You can create a union query of tables with the same (or very similar)
structures. This allows you to search records from multiple tables.
