Multiple day scheduling

Hello. I am dragging the cursor over 2 days in Calendar,
trying to set up an item that will span the 2 days, yet I
end up with an item only in the first day. Does anybody
know how to fix this? I would really appreciate it. Thank
you.

Double-click the start day and it will open the
appointment box. Then you can enter your end-date and it
will show the appointment over the duration.
