Multiple e-mail addresses for one contact

Stumped

We just converted to Outlook 2002. I have many contacts with multiple e-mail addresses which I put in the three fields provided on the contact form. When sending a new e-mail to one of these contacts I sometimes need to send it to an e-mail address in the second or third e-mail address field. How do I do this? Every time I think I've chosen the correct address, Outlook automatically uses the primary address instead

What do I do

You neglected to tell us how you are selecting the recipient. Rather hard
to answer without knowing that.
