1) I have a local isp but use a remote web hosting service
that provides me with email accounts. I've set up Outlook
2002 to download mail from 6 accounts, but if I try to add
any more I get the following error message:
"Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem
continues, contact your server administrator or Internet
service provider (ISP).'"
2) The remote web hosting service says it is not there
problem; many people have more than 10 emails through one
web site.
3) The local isp says it is not their problem.
4) The Microsoft support site, listed below (with their
message at the end of mine), acts like it might be a
firewall problem. I have no firewall and the isp says
theirs is not set to block something like this.
5) So my question is this: Has anyone else experienced
this problem and solved it? Is it a problem with Outlook
or should I continue to pester my isp?
Thanks for any help!
Ron
